The Kenya Peering Forum (KePF) is an annual event that brings together key stakeholders in the ICT, Connectivity and datacenter industry to discuss emerging trends, opportunities and challenges in the Kenyan digital ecosystem. The forum serves as a platform for collaboration, knowledge sharing and networking among industry leaders, policy makers and technology experts.
The forum is organized by Technology Service Providers of Kenya (TESPOK) who manage the Kenya Internet Exchange Point (KIXP).
The Kenya Internet Exchange Point (KIXP) is a key piece of infrastructure in Kenya’s internet ecosystem. It enables local internet service providers (ISPs), content providers, and network operators to exchange traffic locally instead of having to route it internationally. This significantly improves speed, reduces latency, and lowers costs for local internet traffic.
